My previous careers include: small business owner, analyst for "The Value line Investment Survey," urban planner/analyst for State of New Jersey, school teacher in Jersey City, carny at state and county fairs (good training for being a skeptic on Wall Street).I use a top-down approach to investing, based on my outlook for the economy. I then invest in long or short exchange traded funds consistent with my outlook for stock prices, oil prices and interest rates. Under positive stock market conditions I construct for clients diversified portfolios of stocks appropriate to their needs.
